# 3094- Swiss Black forest bear smoking table c. ca. 1900
A linden wood smoking table designed as a large bear with walking stick
moving forwards meanwhile holding up the smoker´s table with the
left paw , comes with hinged head which has glas eyes. Altogheter a
successfull realization after nature in combination with fantasy. Table
comes with the carver masters label but there is not enough ink left to read it without special equipment.
Condition: Brass ashtray, 2 small bears and the musical box are missing, right forefoot replaced in
good artistic quality otherwise fine with usall traces of age and wear, staining comes in different shades
of brown as it should be.
Dimensions: The big bear till ears app. 23 inch high, total height including the cub app. 32 inch.

log with typical barch structure , the carving elaborated after nature in good artistic quality

Age / origin: c. ca. 1880 most likely of swiss origin.

Swiss origin most likely Brienz c. ca. 1880/1900Big wood carving of a hunter behind a tree stump with
integrated barometer, base with a rabbit / hare running
away, in great artistic realization after nature. At the
backside with door, seems that the carving was designed to be sold as a Barometer or also as a clock there was left
space for the pendule inside. Condition: Feather at hunters hat, the gun ending and a minor detail at the
jacket finished restored, no bending or worms, the barometer still moving.
