19th Century ( 1850-1880 ) carved stag head of german origin, carved after nature in good  artistic quality.  Comes  in desirable dimensions, with glass eyes and 11 point antlers.  Carving in polychrome cover with original hanger and nice patina with usual traces of age and wear.

Carving with oak leaves and acorns  as central motiv an also carved deer head

condidition: Fine  besides of to 2 small missing antler points and usuall traces

of wear and age. 

This black forest objekt comes nicely  elaborated in walnut in good artistic quality

 after nature and wiill be perfect to be displayed over a door cabinet or fireplace .

Wooden Stag trophy in desirable size made out of  limewood polychrome painted with 14 point antlers, this detachable.

Condition: The antler not original to this carving but also old with one point lost and fight traces, also wood  shrinkage cracks and a minor number of wormholes, as shown.

# 3093-  Cast Iron Deer head, German c. ca. 1880 - 1900

Cast Iron Stag head on  coat of arms shaped  plaque with crossed guns, hunting horn and surrounding  oak leaves.  By Weise & Bitterlich taxidermity company  in Georgswalde / Bohemia   and Ebersbach in Saxony, as stated  on the backsisde of the shield.

Object comes with rests of  polychrome cover and original  detachable cast iron antlers, is realized  in good artistic quality and comes  in desirable dimensions.  This characteristics  make it the perfect upgrade for any  big fireplace or fitting rustic housefront.

Condition:   Old chip at one of the antler roses, otherwise fine with traces of age and wear as shown
